These terms govern your use of the Sera website and any services Sera provides to your organisation. By using the site you agree to them. If you are using Sera on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that company.
Sera performs defined operational work for commercial property and casualty insurance agencies, beginning with Certificate of Insurance servicing. Sera prepares certificates, outgoing correspondence and exception reports on behalf of, and under the authority of, the agency that engages it. Sera does not provide insurance, legal, tax or compliance advice, and it is not a licensed insurance producer. Certificates evidence coverage as written in the underlying policy documents; they do not amend, extend or create coverage. Your firm remains responsible for the coverage placed and for the final decision to issue.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for reviewing anything Sera prepares, and for all regulatory and licensing obligations that apply to your firm. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access it without authorisation, or use it in breach of applicable law.
Documents and records you share with Sera remain yours. We handle them in line with our Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement between us, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
The site and any preview features are provided on an "as available" basis and may change. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above.
To the extent permitted by law, Sera is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
